I'd rather not talk to my sister about everything if you know what I mean. She slowly gets up out of the chair. She walks into the office slowly. She sits down in a chair in the office. She sips the tea some more. Her eyes grow heavy as she drinks the tea.

I understand. That's fine, we don't have to tell your sister everything. When you're ready, you can talk to me. I'm right here. No pressure.

She drinks some more of the tea. She cries some more and her eyes seem to get heavier. I miss being home. I miss being there with the dances and the dinners and the open wild spaces.

::McCoy nods:: I understand how you feel. I often feel like I want to go home too. Only I can't.
Dear, no one is forcing you to do what you don't want. This is A starship, not a prison. You're not an officer on this ship, you're a Civilian.
Now, we love having you on board, but we certainly don't want you be unhappy. We'll be at Earth soon. If you really want to go home that badly, ::Shrugs:: Go home.
I think you are a wonderful person, and We'd miss you, but we don't want you being unhappy. It's up to you.

I understand, Soolewea. You miss home, I miss home, the Cpatin misses home.
That's why he wants everyone here to feel like a Family. We want you to be a part of the family. That means communication, respect and honesty.
I've known that feeling. I served on Starships for well over 30 years. Belieme me, the relationships you develop here, working alongside men and women, helping and cooperating, It's a great feeling.
You think I wasn't homesick during those times? d**n right I was. But I wouldn't trade those days and that experience for all the latinum in the Grand nagus' treasury.

Your right. The Captain even offered me a job, but I'm new here and I'm still lost on the ship. All I wanted was the babysitting job. Time to teach Lenmana of our ways. She sighs some. Now she's not even talking to me.

Yeah, she's big ship, alright. You'll learn your way around. There are guides on every deck to show you where things are.
So just keep the babysitting job. Nothing wrong with that. The job the Captain had in mind was simply that you'd help out in emergencies getting all the children off the ship, if, God forbid, we had to.
And why isn't she talking to you? What happened?

Amir thought I was blaming the captain for something another captain did and I wasn't! All I said was a Captain hurt me awhile back and said oh I understand our captain has no feelings so I will tell him that you don't want the job and may take for myself. Then Oota followed Amir out said to me to go return to my quarters or better yet return home and never come back! She sighs a bit. I never once said I blamed the Captain for what another did!

Well, ::McCoy started:: It sounds to me like a big misunderstanding. Khambatti is very passionate about this ship. He's dealing with his own losses due to the War.
He was excited about you having a job on the ship. He just wanted you to feel welcome and be a part of things.
Why don't we get Amir in here and we'll work this out? I don't think he's mad. Sounds lke your sister is being pretty hard on you, though.

::Amir heard the call and hit his commbadge.::
On my way, Doc.
::He quickly headed down to sickbay. He hoped that nothing was wrong. He had been taking a brisk walk through the halls, and still had Spartacus with him. He clapped his hand at the dog.::
Let's go, Little buddy!
::Amir darted into the first TL he came upon, with Spartacus trotting right behind.::
::Moments later, the came into Sickbay. Amir picked up the dog, who was a little rambunctious from the run.::
SShhh! Calm down, buddy, you can't run around in here.
Doc? Sooleawa? What's wrong?

Amir, Sool, here thinks you're upset with her. And she's upset over her sister being mad at her. I just thought I'd ask you down here to see if we could clear things up.
I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding.

Ok, I may have been a little disapointed. I didn't mean to get upset. I don't think I did.
I'm sorry Sool, I just thought this would be the perfect job for you.
Now when I was leaving, Oota was a bit un happy. I thought that was alittle uncalled for.
::Spartacus squirmed, wanting to go see Sooleawea. Amir handed her , the puppy, who jumped and started licking her face.::

She takes the puppy into her arms. She speaks to the puppy softly in her native tongue. She hugs Spartacus tightly. She speaks in english again. I didn't want you to think I was blaming the Captain for things he had nothing to do with. I do love it here, but I am happy right now living a civilian life watching over my niece and your dog if you want me to. She kisses Spartacus on the head.

Of course I want you to, Sool. If that's what you want, that's perfectly fine. We want you to stay here. Spartacus certainly does.
I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. I'll talk to Oota for you too, Ok?
