Captain's Log: Stardate: 63321.5 I was very pleased to see my Crew receive the decorations they all earned. It was a very proud moment for me. At present, we are remaining at Central point to await news of the Exodus crew's mission. We will meet briefly with the Admiral to see what had happened out there. I'm willing to believe they were successful. they are a good and resourceful crew. If we are able to get any additional time off between missions, I'm considering going home for a visit. There is someone there who's counsel I am in need of.

Captain's Log: Stardate: 63359.6
We have secured the trransport ship. After helping them make some repairs, they got underway to return home. We have the Admirals and the Officers of the Hades In custody. The IKV kaW Is on its way to rendezvous with us and take them to Rura Penthe. At least 200 crewmen were killed between the other escorts and the transport ship itself. SFC gave the go ahead to send them all to imprisonment there.
While it is a harsh punishment, Fleet feels it is neccesary to show these people that we have no tolerance for collusion and deceit in Starfleet's ranks. This action will be a signal to anyone else who threatens the sanctity of the Federation.
While the Kaw is on her way, we are arriving at Caribe station over Caribe IV. We intend to do a sweep of the station to attempt to weed out any other cells that may still be hiding there. The Klingons will join us as well upon their arrival.
I addition, we will will queston station personnel on the crew of Exodus, stating that they are pirates and bounty hunters and are fugitives of the Federation. this will better insure their undercover status. Once we leave, Exodus will soon arrive there. We hope that with the reputations they will gain, they might win the trust of those who would pose a potential threat to security.Attachments:

Captain's Log; Stardate: 63417.2. We are at the Delta Quadrant border . I just finished a checkup with the new Doctor, who seems to think on the verge of cardiac arrest. That would be most unheard of since Ardanans don't get heart attacks the way humans do. We are avery robust people who were forged on the harsh surface climate of our planet, before we gained our freedom and can now share Stratos with aristocrats alike. Meantime, Scince officer Mellisari has detected an ion trail and we are going to attempt to follow it. Ion propulsion is very advanced, I hope find something.Attachments:

Captain's Log; Star Date: 63434.5. We are near the Delta Quadrant border. We've discovered a ship that seems to have been infested with some sort of Arachnid-like life forms. One of my security people has been attacked by one of them, and is now in sickbay, placed in a ICU with a containment field. Dr McCoy is currently examining the man. The crew of this ship appears to have had all the fluid drained from their bodies, and the ship is heavily infested with the life forms. Doctor McCoy has asked for assistance from Mellisari in trying to get some answers as to how or why this happened on the vessel. The Alien ship itself appears to be some kind of small freighter. Could they have been transporting the Arachnids for some reason? and if so, for what purpose? I'm going to have Mellisari see if she can hack into the vessel's computer and extract her logs. I suspect that will shed some light on all this.Attachments:

Captain's Log; Stardate: 63455.3. We have extracted the AT from the Alien freighter. Lt Kitona thought that she had seen these spiders before, but According to Dr McCoy, they are similar but a different species. We are further out than most Federation ships have been. Security Crewman Voorhees is dead as a result of the alien spider larvae that grew in his body and ate their way out. Every time a crewman is lost, I feel as if I could have done something different. Like I made a mistake I could have avoided. That may, or may not be true, but it's how I feel. McCoy says his former Captain, and friend was the same way. What we do is take risks. Since the days my world discovered pace travel, men have died. On Earth, many "Astronauts" as they were called also gave their lives. This is one of the unfortunate rules of space travel. Young men and women die. In the wake of this tragic death, however, we have made a discovery. These Spiders are somehow, intelligent. McCoy found a means of communication. They actually pleaded for their lives. As if that was not enough, We have picked up a ship heading for us. They seem to be the recipients of the freighter's delivery, and are coming for their property. I need to "Speak" to these spiders before they get there. They are intelligent, and if they ask for asylum, I must grant it. At the same time, I must attempt to explain these others on the way and keep an altercation from occurring.Attachments:

Captain's Log; Stardate: 63473.5 We have returned to rendezvous with the Alien Cruiser. I am proposing that they allow us and the Federation to help them with relief, and to help resupply their planet's food production. With the foods given them, we have given instructions on how to properly grow gogh, Lobsters, and how to make fish hatcheries. These techniques could well help them to bring their civilization back to a more normal pattern after the ecological disaster their planet suffered centuries ago, as a result of limited thermo nuclear war. I am going to offer to seed some of their clouds with hyronoline in order to reduce radiation levels in their atmosphere, and we can do the same over time with their soil. Doctor McCoy and Doctor Greywolf, along with Commander Mellisari will help to formulate a plan for them. In a few short years, their planet will be totally livable again. The Arachnids have been returned home. We received a signal from them on the planet simply saying "Thank you". Hopefully, no other species will view them as food. There are other planets in this sector with food supply problems according to the Commander of the ship we once faced, and now fly alongside with. This world we help now, could well be a future ally of the Federation. Perhaps even a member.

Captain's Log; Star Date: 63531.2 We are continuing on Course for the last known location of Ambassador Neelix. Not a lot of activity to speak of yet, except for a lone freighter that warned us about "The Crusade". This could well be the same race that has come to the alpha Quadrant before on a tempt at conquest. They are a religio-political aristocracy as far as we know. They are opportunists and believe that they have some kind of manifest destiny for the Galaxy. I hope they have nothing to do with why we haven't reached the Ambassador. Meanwhile we will continue, and attempt to avoid any contact with the Crusade if possible. IF we do not, I may have to take extreme measures with them.

Captain's Log: Star Date: 63549.1. We are enroute in the Delta Quadrant. Our mission, to find out what, or if anything has happened to Ambassador Neelix. We have encountered a group of Cruasder ships. They appear to have claimed the territiry, but then, they've been known to do that everywhere they go, not always with success. Essentially, these ships are huge Fusion power plants. A fusion reactor powers warp drive and their particle beam cannons. Though powerful, they do not possess but a fraction of Polaris' speed and maneuverability. Our new phasers, type IV could slice those ships open like a fresh kill. But I wish to avoid any violence with them. Unfortunately, blowing them up is far easier than reasoning with a fanatical race.Attachments:

Captain's Log: Stardate; 63587.5. We have brought the Talaxian crew aboard Polaris and are preparing to get Neelix and his people off of the Colony planet. Another situation has arisen. Long range scans indicate there is a much larger object accompanying the Crusader fleet. It is huge, but further scans revealed that, while it is armed and armored is not a Dreadnaught as we first thought. The lower section of the ship is actually a repair facility for their ships. Inside, the ship is filled with hydroponic gardens and livestock modules. I believe the purpose of this ship is to provide food, water, repairs, supplies and fuel to the fleet cruisers. Essentially, this ship is a mobile starbase, and possibly a command center. If this is the case, the we have found their achilles heel. Only this is going to be a tough heel to crack.Attachments:

Captain's Log; Star Date:63666.4. It looks as if it's "Dinner Time". I have the "grand Monarch" on board. I'm going to do what I have to do to settle this without violence. Due to our distance from Federation territory, and the length of time communications would take, I may have to exercise Captain's Field prerogative, and the best decision I can in Lieu of the Situation. When I go to meet the Monarch, I will hope fully have him at a psychological disadvantage. I learned the technique from a lecture by Admiral Edward Jellico. Jellico was the Captain everyone loved to hate. He wasn't into making small talk, or Fraternizing, he was strictly business. I have to say this. Looking at his service record, the man knew how to get things done and he babied no one. On his ship, The USS Cairo, you hit the ground running, or you got swept under by the herd.Attachments:

Captain's Log; Stardate:63761.9. With the Crusaders behind us, We have left the Colony of New Talax. We had a very nice Visit with Mr Neelix and enabled him to do a long range Communication with Admiral Janeway. She was most pleased to see her friend was alright. We are docking at Central point before long. Admiral Helm wishes to see us upon our arrival.Attachments:

Captain's Log: Stardate; 63965.1 We have just had a very unique experience inside the Wormhole off Bajor. What we believe to be one of the "Prophets" appeared to us in a humanoid form, informing us That the Crew of the Exodus is safe and sound and has been taken to an Alternate Universe Where they are to save the Federation from exctinction. I have no reason to doubt this alien who spoke to us, But it also seems that these "Prophets" use people as they see fit. Greater good or no, I find discomforting. Then again, I must ask myself: "What if it involved Ardana?" I can only wonder about the status of my planet in this alternate universe. Do they need help? Evidently the entire Federation does over there. Since we are in the neighborhood, I'm ordering shore leave at DS9.Attachments:

Captain's Log; Stardate: 63992.1. We had a nice shoreleave and are now preparing to head through the wormhole. We will be exploring Some previously uncharted areas of the Gamma Quadrant. Chief engineer Kitona is taking personal leave. We have managed to find a new CMO now that McCoy has been transferred to the Bradbury. We will be chatrting, as well as looking for any remaining Jem'Hadar activity. Perhaps even the Tosk, as I once faced in this quadrant as an enseignAttachments:

Captain's Log: Stardate; 64107. We are on final approach to the newly discovered class M Planet in this uncharted systtem. Ou first objective is to find the missing personnel. There is also a large asteroid on an imminent collision with the planet. We believe there is a connection between this abduction and the Asteroid. The scientists taken were astrophysisists. They may be able to plot out the movements of the asteroid and determine the exact time and point of impact, but they will not possess the skill needed to divert it. That is a job for an Engineer. Fortunately, there are three good ones on our ship.Attachments:

Captain's Log; Stardate: 64146. We are running out of time. We need to move that Asteroid, however, the problem is, these people have apprehended Federation scientists. I cannot allow this act to be tolerated by Starfleet. They know how grave the situation. All they need do is cooperate. Once I have those scientists on board, where Dr. Garza can look them over, we will divert that asteroid. Governor karnack had better concede to my demands, Or there will be only one chance left....Attachments:

Captain's Log: Stadate; 64184.5. We have completed the mission of diverting the asteroid of this unusual planet. I've decided to keep an eye on things just in case something unexpected happens and they need further help. I'm also of a good mind to tell that Governor a thing or two about Diplomacy. But perhaps they don't have the same concept of such things as we. Part of our mission is to find out how others think so we can learn more about ourselves in the process.

Captain's Log: Stardate:64241.7 We had been recalled through the Wormhole By Fleet Command in order to investigate an incident at Cardassia Prime. In addition, reports state the IKS HoS, La'Quv PoK's ship has gone missing after investigating something in the system. No sooner did we arrive in the system to meet a Cardassian Welcoming committee. If I didn't know better, I'd say our friends were trying to hide something.Attachments:

Captain's Log; Stardate: 64376.1. We are still off of Saturn at the hanger/docks for the new, prototype ships. One is section31 technology that had been apprehended by Starfleet Marines. Currently we are attempting to contact the Exodus on a report of their assault. Dr. Khambatti, Amir's Great Grandfather in this universe had made mention of the fact that the Section is now going under the name "Umbra". Dr Khambattis has agreed to help us set up a means of communication to "Our" universe. Perhaps we can get some backup against the Imlubari. I don't know how the prime directive applies in this situation, but this is still Starfleet. As much as we need to return to the battle area, I feel that we should further investigate the presence of Umbra at SFHQ. Captain Rheis claims there was strange behavior at HQ when he was last there. Maybe we need to go in and clean house. Attachments:

Captain's Log; Stardate: 64395.5. Polaris will approach SFHQ under cloak. Current technology would be unable to detect us. Mellisari will have to hack their system undetected. We have already found traces of zenite and anesthesine gasses in main life support on the station. This alone says that something is just not right. If we take immediate action, such as beaming the tanks of gas off the station, we would be tipping our hand, and they would know something was a foot. If this is indeed the same malignant splinter of section31, now calling themselves "Umbra" then we have to assume that they have advanced technology as we do. it would be fool hardy to think otherwise. Fortunately, we have been able to establish contact with our home universe by duplicating the transporter frequency and sending a signal buy through via the transporter. I hope Admiral Helm gets it quickly. Perhaps that old crone with the DTA could lend some insights as to the proper action to be taken. Right now, I want a logistical analysis done to best determine what action to take here. Going in with "Guns-a-blazing" is not the way to combat the section. We're going to have to think as they do. Perhaps it's time for a little deception and underhandedness of our own. We Troglytes know a thing or two about that.Attachments:
