Dr McCoy EMH: ::He had called the captain down to sickbay as they were en route to SB266. McCoy just wanted to make sure the Captain was doing alright after this.::
Brock Dantara: ::enters SB looking a bit overtired.:: Hello, Dr is everything alright?
Dr McCoy EMH: I don;t know, Brock, you tell me, is everything alright? Have a seat.
Brock Dantara: ::Sits in the office by the desk.:: Dr, I'm really not in the mood to be told that "I did the right thing,....etc. etc.. I'm just not able to deal with it right now.
Dr McCoy EMH: Ok. That's fine. ::takes out a bottle of Saurian Brandy:: Actually it was you who brought it up, not me. ::Pours him a shot.::
Brock Dantara: Brought what up?
Dr McCoy EMH: Well, whatever it is that you're not in the mood for. So I won;t even ask. And I'm a Dr not a d**n Psychiatrist. I guess I'm just spoiled.
Brock Dantara: Spoiled? ::He takes the glass and downs the shot.:: How so?
Dr McCoy EMH: Well, I guess I'm just used to having the Captain's ear. Jim used to come in just to talk when he needed to, or tell jokes, or we'd just do what we called way back in the old days, "Shootin' the $h*t."
Brock Dantara: ::Laughs:: That's funny. ::He picked up the other shot that McCoy put out for him:: I appreciate the fact that you find me as good company as your former Captain. I suppose that puts me in good company.
Dr McCoy EMH: ::Smiles:: I think I can safely speak for him when I say you'd have gotten along. I think he'd be proud.
Brock Dantara: ::Holds the glass in the air:: James Tiberius Kirk. ::Downs the shot::
Dr McCoy EMH: Here here!
Brock Dantara: ::Looks at the glass. He hadn't even realized he was drinking.:: Dr are you trying to take advantage of me? ::Smiles::
Dr McCoy EMH: Take advantage of you? Now hold on, Brock what kind of a Hologram do you think I am? And men are more comfortable with bartenders than Dr's. Just trying to be social. And besides. you needed it. Brock it's ok to hurt over what happened to those people. It's the fact that you DO hurt....That's what makes you the right man for that chair up there. Just like Jim was the right man for his.
Brock Dantara: ::He sat silently a moment, considering the Dr's words. Then muttered.:: It's not the chair I'm worried about.
Dr McCoy EMH: I know that something's on your mind. I'm not gonna push you, but bottling it up is not going to help either.
Brock Dantara: ::Nods. slides the glass back over to him for a refill.:: Dr, I've never thought of myself as a jealous person. As a rule i never felt that way. Except for one person.
Dr McCoy EMH: I could venture a guess.
Brock Dantara: When I fist saw her, Dr, I felt like a shy young schoolboy. It was like being stunned with a phaser. I felt stupid. Butterflies. At my age. But Dr, At that moment I knew that I wanted to spend every moment of the rest of my life with her. I lost her in the war, The Impostor, I thought she had left me,.... Brock Dantara: I just wanted to fill the gap so bad. But I couldn't. And what I did wasn't fair.
Dr McCoy EMH: Lt Torrianna?
Brock Dantara: ::Nods:: I was enamored with her when I met her on the Optimus. She helped me and supported me to keep going and to organize a bunch of frightened crewman and give them hope to keep fighting. These people were just off of an escape pod. The Impostors were shooting down escape pods in cold blood.
Dr McCoy EMH: ::Nods:: I know. It was terrible. It was your first war. You held it together, and you became dependant on Torianna a little.
Brock Dantara: I told her I loved her! I tried to convince myself of that. Yes, I cared about her a lot. But I never stopped loving Shian. No matter how much I thought she hurt me, I never stopped loving her. And even if she hurt me again, I'd still love her.
Dr McCoy EMH: And I understand how deeply you love her. I was married. Mine didn;t exactly work. I remember how painful it was. And that just how it works, Brock. The harder you love, the more it hurts. Ok now what about the jealousy thing. You just told me that you told Tori you loved her. And you're jealous? Does Shian know about Tori?
Brock Dantara: No. And nothing ever, you know, happened between us. I....just couldn't.
Dr McCoy EMH: You felt guilty.
Brock Dantara: ::Nods:: yeah. You can say that. The more I tried to focus on Tori, the more I thought about Shian. So it just didn;t feel right.
Dr McCoy EMH: You really love her, Don;t you.
Brock Dantara: Love her? I'd die for her without hesitation. I wish those bastards took me instead. I wish I could carry her pain for her.
Dr McCoy EMH: Well, Brock you can't blame yourself for that, unless you wanna blame your whole race.
Brock Dantara: What do you mean by that?
Dr McCoy EMH: I mean, that according to some new research data, Imposters can't use Ardanan DNA. You were useless to them.
Brock Dantara: So you mean to tell me they can't duplicate or impersonate Ardanans? Why?
Dr McCoy EMH: Some kind of enzyme in your chemistry gives you a natural immunity. They can't hurt you.
Brock Dantara: An enzyme? Could this Enzyme be duplicated? given to those that don't have it?
Dr McCoy EMH: Far as I can tell from the data I looked over, it wouldn't hurt anyone. You wanna use it as an immunizing agent!
Brock Dantara: You're d**ned right! Now tell me this. What would happen if this enzyme were injected into them directly?
Dr McCoy EMH: Well, I imagine it'd be sort of like injecting us with sulfuric acid. Not real pleasant.
Brock Dantara: Why didn't you tell me about this before!
Dr McCoy EMH: Brock I just got the report recently, an in case you haven't noticed, half the bridge crew is giving birth. Of curse we can always use an extra shift around here.
Brock Dantara: Dr you're beautiful! Now I want you to whip up as much of that enzyme as you can! ::He began to leave the office.::
Dr McCoy EMH: Wait a minute, what about the other thing?
Brock Dantara: Other thing? what other thing? ::He was gone::
Dr McCoy EMH: ::Stares at the door for a moment:: Beautiful, huh? Where was anyone to tell me that when I was alive?

ChristinaRRivers: She got beamed into sickbay and an auto growl could be heard before she spoke, " I didn't need to be beamed here. This is rediculious." She said that through clinched teeth.
Dr McCoy EMH: Ok, You're doubled over in pain, clenching your teeth. Sure, coming to Sickbay is rediculous. You must have gotten an "A+" in Stubborn 101 at the Vulcan academy. Now sit up on this bed and let's have a look.
ChristinaRRivers: She sighed and let out a breath she had been holding, "Alright. I'll sit." She got up on the biobed, "only doing it because you asked nicely."
Dr McCoy EMH: Did I? ::takes the medical tricorder and goes over her:: Well, I can say right off the bat withour going any further, you;re exhausted. Furthermore, you're not eating properly, so your stomach lining is rebelling. Your esophagus isn't a pretty sight either. Vulcans may be able to long periods of time without food or sleep, but they are more physically developed than we are! Their bodies can handle it, ours can't!
ChristinaRRivers: "That's what Lee keeps telling me. He gave up his command tempearly to stay with me. For some reason he beleives I am refusing to eat and sleep out of choice. I have work to do on this ship. Ever since the mind meld with Spock. I have been having nightmars when I do fall asleep. Even if Lee is holding me. But they are not mine. I've tried eating but I throw up everything but water. I don't know what to do at this point."
Dr McCoy EMH: Why would a mindmeld give you nightmares? We'll have to get to the bottom of this. Until I do, you're staying here. You want out? you gotta eat and keep it down.
ChristinaRRivers: She looked McCoy in the eyes, "Spock's mind is trubled and that somehow got passed to me. I don't know how else to explain it. I've tried reasoning it out some other way but it just hasn't happened." She sighed, "Can Lee come down? He tends to calm me. I tend to be more at peace with him present."
Dr McCoy EMH: Yes he can come, if it keeps you quiet. I'm sorry Christina but I'm suspending you from duty until we get this resolved. You can’t help this ship in your current condition.
ChristinaRRivers: She sighed, " I know and don't think I haven't tried to resolve this. I've tired so hard...I supose you have to inform the Captain."
Dr McCoy EMH: Of course I have to. It's my job. And we have you back to top shape so you can do yours.
ChristinaRRivers: "Good because the sooner I am on my feet the sooner Lee can get back to his command and not have to worry about me."
Lee Chan: Lee walked in his brown eyes looking around sickbay. He had heard the call for an emergancy medical beaming to sickbay and checked with the computer to see where she was at putting the two togeather is how he got here.
Dr McCoy EMH: Someobody's always worried about something. I'm gonna contact Spock and see what he can tell me about this mind meld. In the mean time, I want you to sleep. I'm giving you a shot. this will ease your stomach and help induce hunger. We have to get some food in you.
ChristinaRRivers: "Ok, but can Lee at least get here before I have to sleep."
Dr McCoy EMH: Of course. He can get you your lunch. Or I can have Mrs Musashi send you something down. maybe a seaweed salad to start.
Lee Chan: Lee quitely entered the area where the two where at. He had on his civilian cloths which were a shirt that was modled after a chineese warriors kemoto and a pair of black pants. "I hear someone is refusing to eat again."
ChristinaRRivers: She almost came out of her bed hearing the voice and smiled, "Lee? So glad you are here. This is Doctor McCoy. He's been taking care of me."
Dr McCoy EMH: When she isn;t fighting me tooth and nail, that is.
Lee Chan: Lee smiled and came into the room setting the tray on the near by table. "She is stubbern but just like the mighty dragon when she is wounded her bite only gets worse before getting better."
ChristinaRRivers: She laid back down in the biobed putting her hands on her stomach, "This has got to be the most unfair fight a women has been in. Two against one."
Dr McCoy EMH: No, actually it's one against one. You vs You. Now if we can figure out what you're beating yourself up over, we'll get somewhere.
ChristinaRRivers: "I'm beating myself up over the fact that it took me five years to contact Lee and it took me being very sick to do so."
Lee Chan: "I was not an easy man to find because of my duty not because I chose it. If I had it my way I would have contacted you five years ago to tell you my a$$ignment but unforchanitly government moves in myserious ways. It is my fault she is this way. Our bond is strong and when left her it broke her heart. This much I see in her eyes everytime she looks at me." Looks at Chrstina, "If only she would eat now and trust I won't leave."
ChristinaRRivers: She looks at Lee, "I trust you with my life. If I didn't I wouldn't have accepted you into my home." She hears her stomach growls and moans, "d**n...I have to try and eat."
Dr McCoy EMH: Ok, Lee, I'm leaving it up to you to feed her. ::Smiles:: Maybe you should just start with some plomik soup. not too much solids at first. maybe a little bread.
Lee Chan: "I will try my best to try and get her to keep something down. If not with food from our home then food from the home of her mentor. She deserves to die a smarie's death not be this way."
ChristinaRRivers: She sighed, "Here we go again..."
Dr McCoy EMH: Good. Now I have other patients to check on. Juat help her to relax. If she won't sleep, use this. ::Hands Lee a rubber mallet:: Don't worry it's set for stun. ::Walks off::

Lee worked with Christina to get her to eat again and she started to regain her strenght. It wasn't like her to be this way but often times her past is what got her into truble. After a few days of eating and being able to function again as she should be she waited for the Doctor to come and talk to her about being released back to duty.

Kahn-ut-tu? ::Thinks for a second:: Oh you mean the Khan-ut-tu women of plante Neural. We had quite a time there back in the day.
The Captain got bit by a Mugato, and only a Khan-ut-tu woman could cure him. Fortunate, the Captain;s friend, Tyree was married to one. Her name was Nona.
Beautiful? That's a poor word to describe a Khan-ut-tu. They are intoxicating, almost like Orion women. If they cure you, you can't resist them.
She cured my Captain with something called a Mako root. She also stole a phaser. Got Killed by the Hill people. d**n shame.
This one of the resons the Prime directive is now adamant about less advanced worlds and how we study them.
Those women were few and far between back then, wonder if there are any left, or if their order died out.

He walked into sickbay after a delightful dinner with Lt. Kushani in the messhall and a good nights rest. He was going to get Dr. McCoy a hard time about something but saw he was busy with one of the crewmembers. Apparently the Lt. must have asked him about something he personally exsperanced. He couldn't help but chuckle at that before going into their office and looking over the recent medical reports. He had to catch up on some of his as well as read the ones that people already completed.

Not since Lt Cheveyo left to return to Earth for a family crisis. There is one on the way, I'm told. I've been tacking up the slack for that mostly.
Back in my day, we didn;t have Counselors on ships. I was Captain Kirk's Doctor, and his counselor. I took care of that crew for over 30 years.
Don;t worry, I won;t make you lie on a couch and tell me about your mother. ::Laughs::
I suppose it would be interesting to go back to Neural. But as I said, there are very strict rules concerning contact with primitive Planets. We got away with murder back then.
