::The doctor's words caused something inside of her to surge forward. She could feel it welling up within her.::
::She squared herself in front of the stack of plates that were left and picked one up.::
They took me away from my husband!
::She threw the plate hard into the wall.::
They made me believe I did horrible things!
::Another plate hit the wall.::
They destroyed so many lives!
::And another.::
::Her breathing was faster and she'd put more effort into her throws.::
They took away my last chance to see my father!
::Two more plates.::
I didn't get to see my husband make Captain!
::Another plate.::
I... ::plate:: didn't... ::plate:: kill... ::plate:: my... ::plate:: husband!! ::plate::
::Her face was streaked with tears. She couldn't even really see where she was aiming. She sank to the floor.::
::Her emotions were flowing full force now, she was crying hard, and wanting nothing more than her husband to be there to hold her.::
::If this was supposed to be helping her, she didn't understand how.::

::He sat down beside her and took her shoulders.::
Ok, Ok, It's alright. You're doing great. It may not seem like it, but you had to clean out some pipes. You let it out. you defined your frustrations by speaking them.
And by doing that, you got a chance to look at it from that outside and see it for what it is.
Of course you're angry about all those things. ou have a right to be.
What happened happened. You have absolutely no reason to feel guilty or responsible for what happened.
What you went through is gonna affect you the rest of your life whether you like it or not. But that doesn't mean you have to internalize it all.
You don't have to live in fear. There are people who never go through anything like you have, and live in fear.
We have to get rid of it now. You have to bring up that fear and go through it.
Or you can spend the rest of your life in fear. And you know what happens to people who are afraid of everything and everyone?
They become local police officers!
::He smiled::

::Shian collapsed onto McCoy's shoulder. She had no problem in relating to him. She didn't know why. But she was glad that he'd taken it upon himself to stick with her through this.::
::She stayed there, with her head resting on him, listening to his motivational speech. She thought about what she'd said, what she yelled out when she threw the plates.::
::He had a point. It seemed a little different now, thinking back on what had just occurred. She seemed to feel that each one of those frustrations were thrown with the china. She still felt them, but they somehow were looser than they were before. They weren't as bound up inside her anymore.::
You really think I'm making good progress?
::She was still sobbing a bit. This had been an extremely emotional day. And right now she could not make heads or tails of it.::
I wish Brock was here. I wish my father were here.
::That statement had stuck out to her. They had been the ones responsible for her not being able to be there when her father died. He passed away, believing his last remaining child was already dead. She'd never be able to get that time back.::

::MCCoy nodded, Trying to comfort her.::
I know, Shian, I know, And yes you're making d**n good progress.
And I know the Captain would come a running if I called him, but you have let him run his ship, you know that.
And I'm sorry about your Father. Inderstand how it feels to not be complete in a felationship.
I didn;t talk to Joanna for a long time. And now I can't. She attended her father's funeral. What can I do, call her and say "Honey it's me I'm back as a hologram?" That would do her a lot of good. Probably scare the d*ckens out of her.
::He paused a moment::
Why don't you write him a letter? Tell him everything that's happened. Tell him everything you want to say to him but never got the chance. Then just broadcast it into space.
Whether he gets that message or not, Shian, I believe he died knowing how you feel.
And Shian,........He's not really dead, you know. not as long as you remember him.
::He hugged her::

::She nodded.::
I know Brock has a ship to run. And I want him to keep doing what he's doing.
::She sighed.::
He's doing such important work. He's great at it, you know.
::Then, when she listened to his idea of writing a letter, it triggered something in her memory. What was it? She continued to grasp at it until she finally got a corner of it.::
::It was the same thing her husband had spoken of doing before, with a former crewmate and friend. And it somehow had a connection with her brother, Jax, though she couldn't quite remember the entire situation.::
I think Brock did that once. I don't know. Maybe it would help.
::She thought about it for a moment longer.::
I... I wonder... Do you think it would be a good idea to maybe make a holodeck program with him? So I could maybe just say what I need to say to him, in person, so to speak?
::As she still sat on the floor, leaning on McCoy's shoulders, she realized why she felt more comfortable around him. He was the acting father figure that she was missing right now. It was a role that her husband could certainly not fill, but it seemed to be a perfect fit for Leonard McCoy.::

Yes, ::McCoy began.:: The Captain's doing a great job. He's a kood, kind man and he's fair. He knows how to be a good leader without having to be a renowned taskmaster like Chris Pike was.
As far as the holodeck program, Idon't see anything wrong with that. It's not uncommon for people to do that. It's ben used on long term voyages for Vulcans who needed to Ponn Farr, Klingons who misses thier Rite of Ascension, things like that.
Maybe it would be a good idea. The conputer can do a search on all known informtion about him. If you have any other Family on New France, maybe they can send you some recordings, letters, anything that the computer can extrapolate on to make it as real as possible.
::He thought for a minute, and was almost afraid to say it....::
Maybe he left a message for you.

::She lifted her head from his shoulder and looked at him when she heard his last comment.::
Left a message? How could he... He didn't even know I was still alive. Starfleet informed him that I was lost in the war.
::Her eyes fell to her hands.::
And I don't have any family left on New France. Brock is my only family now.
::She searched her memory for what would have happened to all of the information on her father.::
I think that I still have all of my transmissions to and from my father while I was in the Academy... and while I was stationed on Deep Space Nine.
::Her hopes fell slightly.::
That is, if Brock still has my personal effects with him. All my records and my things were still on the new ship, where he was Executive Officer, before I disappeared.
::She looked at McCoy again.::
Do you think he kept everything?
|
|
|
Post by Dr Leonard McCoy EMH on Jul 19, 2008 23:37:56 GMT -5
Hmm...::McCoy thought.:: As far as what Brock kept, hard to say. As I understand it, he had to get off the ship as fast as possible after the attack. The ship was burning.
As far as any transmissions, either from DS9 Or thae Academy, that would have been transferred to the starfleet personl log database, which we should be able to access.
If you like, I'll be happy to contact the medical facility where your Father passed on. I'll see what infromaton they have. Contacting them may be too painful or uncomfortable fro you. let me take care of that.
::He helped her to his feet. He could only recall a time when Joanna was that age. She needed him more than he could be there for her. he was a Starfleet doctor on long range assignments with a Captain that relied heavily on him.
He knew he was feeling a little of the same pain Shian was. He had wished he could have been a bette Father and been around more. His estranged former wife could'nt be a "Starfleet wife" any more.::
Well, I think we did all we can do with these plates for now. I know this has been draining for you, but that's a good thing.
Remember, you're only going to be afraid until you can't be afraid anymore. You have to go through the feelings, and wear them down. It's starting already.
You wanna head back up and relax a little? Because i have one more medical directive for you.

::Shian nodded to him when he offered to contact the medical facility on New France.::
I'd appreciate that. You're right, I don't think I could do it right now.
::She got to her feet with his help, wiped the tear tracks from her face, and looked at the table with the remaining china.::
Guess I can always come back here and throw some more when I feel like I need to.
::She looked at him and shrugged a bit.::
::It had been emotionally draining. But, she could tell a difference from when they came into the holodeck. Her fears, her frustrations, her feelings... they were no longer on what had happened to her, but trying to make amends with the loss of her father, even if he wouldn't really be there for it.::
::She nodded to him.::
Yes, I think I'd like to take a little break from all this... therapy.
::She half-smiled.::
What more do you want me to do today, Doctor?

::He smiled, taking her arm as the left the Holodeck. I was enlivening for him to see Shian growing into into herself, more and more each passing day.
Her regrets brought a lot of his own up, though. Here's a woman who's upset because she couldn't be there for her Father, and here he was, upset because he felt like he couldn't be enough of a Father to his daughter.
But here, they were. He felt that maybe, he could make up for some of that by helping this woman. Here we was, trying to be the Father he couldn't be during his life.
Perhaps somehow, they would both achieve some completion together.::
Well, :He started:: Your medical orders are to to go enjoy yourself. I want you to have fun. And don't give me that 'I don't deserve to' or any of that poppy.
Now if you're not sure what to do, I happen to know a certain senior officer aboard this ship that would like to take his wife out, and maybe go dancing, or something.
In my Medical opinion, I'd have to say, that doing so probably won't kill you.

::Shian smiled, more inwardly than outward, but it was still a smile.::
I think I can manage to try and follow those orders, Doctor.
::The doors to the holodeck slid shut behind them and the object that the computer had created disappeared, leaving the gridded room empty once more.::
Maybe I will come back here tomorrow and try some more of your stress release.
::She also thought, as they walked down the corridor towards the turbolift, that perhaps she'd feel alright enough in a couple of days to maybe see if Mellisari would like to have lunch together.::~*~End of Segment~*~

Brock Dantara: ::They had strolled casually together through the corridor to the Holodeck. It was nice to get out of uniform for a while, and relax. Things had been routine and Mellisari had the bridge.... They came up to the doors of the main holodeck. He smiles, and squeezed Shian's hand:: Computer, Program Dantara-S- enhanced.
"Program complete. Enter when ready." The computer voice replied.
Shian Taris: ::She looked at him, smiling, as he squeezed her hand. She didn't know what she was going to be seeing, but if it was Brock's idea, it would be wonderful, she was sure. She gave his hand a squeeze back.:: Are you ready to show me whatever this is?
Brock Dantara: Well, ::He began:: You've seen this before, but not this version. It's a bit more colorful. ::He grinned, taking her hand and walking with her throughout doors, there was a quick rush of cold air as they stepped onto what appeared to be a hover Pad.:: Grab the rails, Sweetheart. and hang on. ::He put his hand on her back to spot her as she took hold.... They were on a disc-shaped Ardanan hover platform, And appeared to be quite high up.::
Shian Taris: ::She gripped the rain nearest her, but felt more reassured with his hand on her back. She looked around them and smiled:: This is your Ardana program, then.
Brock Dantara: ::He smiled, Bringing her closer, so she stood in front of him and he too the rails on either side of her. He brushed the hair way from her face as it flapped in the wind, and pointed. There in the distance, was the magnificent city in the clouds, Growing larger.:: The program; been greatly enhanced. Much more real than when you last saw it. I thought we'd take the dramatic entrance, What do you think?
Shian Taris: ::Shian felt some sort of rush of adrenaline being on the hover pad with him behind her, supporting her, and the air rushing by:: This is fantastic, Brock! ::Being a flyer, she loved this:: And you're right, I don't remember the last program seeming to be so vibrant.
Brock Dantara: They've done wonderful things with this program. Of course, it's good for tourism. ::Laughs:: I haven;t had a chance to do this for real in a while. I find it very tranquilizing.
Shian Taris: ::she laughed:: You got this from the Ardana tourism board?
Brock Dantara: ::As the city grew close, a great arm extended with a landing Pad on it. The Platform was gently tractored in, and then slowly cradled back to the entrance gate. He took Shian's hand again, leading her off the platform, as ground crew coming out to greet them.::
Shian Taris: ::She took his hand and stepped off, glancing up to the ground crew::
"Welcome to Stratos, Captain and Mrs Dantara." A woman greeted them. "Here are your transport passes. Have a wonderful time. Please follow the escorts to the main gate" ::They headed for the main door.:: The program is interactive. It recognizes any of the crew and would greet them by name if they wanted to use this.
Shian Taris: ::Shian nodded as the woman greeted them and handed them the passes. She took note of her apparel and the politeness of the one that welcomed them.:: Thank you. ::She listened to Brock tell her about the program as they approached the door::
Brock Dantara: ::The passed through the main gate, and headed down a brief corridor before getting into the city proper. It was different this time. There was the hustle and bustle of a living, breathing Stratos. Alive with commerce, artisans, musicians, poets, Miners, administrators. The cylindrical towers glistened in the Ardanan Sun and the large terrace could be seen at all levels with
Shian Taris: ::She was slightly shocked to see the activity in the city.:: This is definitely different than the last time. ::She smiled looking at all the various people and the beautiful, gleaming structures.::
Brock Dantara: various colors and types of foliage. The clouds moved, the wind blew. The sky was a bright white mixed with a caramel Red.::
Shian Taris: ::She wandered away from Brock as if drawn to the inhabitants, though only enough for arms length. Then she stepped hurriedly back to Brock.:: This is so beautiful, so amazing! ::She was enjoying the sounds of some of the local musicians. The music was different, yet likeable. She watched some of the artisans, before looking back at her husband.:: Is this really what it's like?
Brock Dantara: It almost fools me sometimes. ::He smiles:: My Father brought me the program back when I was commanding the Optimus.
Shian Taris: ::Her head snapped around at that:: Your father?
Brock Dantara: And you know what else that sneaky old kzad did? he kept all my tuff! Replicated everything I took with me. and good thing or I'd have lost it all on the Guardian. The original filter mask that McCoy made back in 2269, my 19th century Samurai sword, priceless stuff! leave it to a Troglyte to pull a stunt like that. ::laughs::
Shian Taris: ::she peers at him:: Yet, you're not immensely upset by that. Maybe I'm glad I didn't meet him. ::she doesn't quite know what to make of his father:: What did Dr. McCoy think about this program?
Brock Dantara: He felt that stuff was too valuable to take on a Starship, and he was right. he was just looking out for me. And I was happy not to lose those things. The Mask, especially, is a priceless part of our heritage.
Shian Taris: then it's good that he did that for you, Brock. ::She took his arm in both her hands, walking along with him:: Well, I like the enhancements. It's made the place even more magical.
Brock Dantara: ::Brock could now smell the aroma of Ardanan java and other foods in the air. Stratos was famous for her outdoor markets and cafe's::
Shian Taris: ::She noticed his reaction to the scents in the air:: So is that your coffee I smell? ::she grinned::
Brock Dantara: I suppose Magical is a good word for it. Someday, when we come to the real Stratos, I'll show you the surface. We don;t allow that to made into a hologram. Their are many ancient sacred places of the Troglytes, and the ancient laws forbid that sort of thing. As we put it, it is the "Private Soul" of our people.
Shian Taris: And here I thought it was more to do with the more ancient of Stratos. That they didn't want others seeing the surface or the Troglytes there. Or maybe I'm just more naive about your home world than I thought. ::She looked at Brock:: I'm sorry.
Brock Dantara: Nothing to be sorry about. There's a lot that is not generally known about Troglytes. There are ways and rituals that date back to antiquity, long before the time of the great lie.... But we also believe that the joy in learning about us, is for both the learner, and the teacher. They are antiquated laws, but we don;t allow our children to forget where they came from, and how many sacrificed so that we could rise from the surface.
Shian Taris: ::She smiles to him:: And that is always important for future generations. I'm glad you feel that way. These are your roots, your origins. And they are essential to who you are. And to why I fell in love with you.
Brock Dantara: ::He smiled when she said that and kissed her.:: This is your world, now, too. You'll learn about our planet, and I think you will find our history interesting. Maybe a little sad in places.
Shian Taris: I don't think there's a race in existence that doesn't have it's sad moments, Brock. ::She breathed in the air, looking around again.:: I may have married you and become a part of this, but I'm still an outsider to this world. ::She looked over at him:: So, what do you want to show me first?
Brock Dantara: ::They slowly and leisurely walked toward the town square. It was always the busiest part of the City. The best artisans displayed their works there, and they had great story teller/guides that told people of Ardana and it's history, as well as humorous stories and philosophy. They continued on for a brief while, until Brock saw a man waving to them and motioning for them to come over.:: This is someone I'd like you to meet. ::Brock grinned.::
Shian Taris: ::She liked the whole vision of the artisans and the bards of Ardana. Then, she looked over towards the man that waved to them:: Alright. Who is it? ::She knew she wouldn't get an answer until they got to him, but she asked anyway::
Brock Dantara: He is another piece of Ardanan history. The man himself has passed, but they did numerous interviews with him and made a very convincing hologram. He's not like McCoy, but extra care was taken for him.
Shian Taris: so he's more like an actual hologram with personal interaction algorithms?
Brock Dantara: ::A moment later, they came up upon the man. he was aging, but had a look of deep thought, as well as joy about him. He stepped forward as they approached, and embraced Brock.:: "Hello, my friend, Hello! I am happy to see you. You must visit me more often." He looked at Shian and smiled. "Hello, my dear. Brock has spoken of you many times,
Shian Taris: ::She stood aside, watching them greet each other, smiling at them. The man very wise. She smiled to him with a bit of surprise:: He has?
" I am Kelmar. They call me 'The Old man of Stratos'" He laughed.
Shian Taris: It's nice to meet you, Kelmar. ::she offered her hand to him in greeting::
Kelmar took her hand in return. "Of course he has. Let me tell you. When I was still...er...alive....I would sit out on this very terrace at night to taste the cool evening air.... Brock, who at the time was a boy, would come out here and play with his flying toys. We would talk and we became the best of friends. But, you know, he did not just play with the toys, as the other children did.... No, he had to take everyting apart and find out how it worked, and then he would re-assemble it, and it would operate better than before!"
Brock Dantara: ::Brock laughed, almost embarrassed at kelmar's bragging.::
Shian Taris: ::She chuckled, listening to his story:: that does indeed sound like my husband ::she tried to imagine Brock as a boy, playing here, and it made her smile::
Brock Dantara: Kelmar was here during the great revolt. he watched the face of Ardanan change before his eyes. Some say that he is the keystone of the old and new here on Ardana.
"Keystone" He waved his hands. "I am nothing but a man who did what he thought was the right thing to do. Nothing more."
Shian Taris: ::Shian nodded in consideration:: Ah, then you are to be revered, Kelmar. Don't downplay yourself in such a role.
"I know, you want me to tell your Love the story. very well." Brock didn't even have to say it. "You see, my dear, even back when I was a young man, I would come out here at night as I often did. I would see the lady Droxine stand out here each night, gazing at the stars. waiting for the man she truly loved to return from the heavens. but he never returned."
Shian Taris: ::Shian sat down on a nearby step, eager to listen to him::
Kelmar sighed a moment. "His 'Star Trek" Never came to an end. so she never married. Never would have anyone else." " you know, my dear" he continued" Brock spoke of you long before he ever left Ardana. Like Droxine, he would gaze at the stars as if he knew he would meet someone out there. So, I told him, 'Maybe it's time for you embark on a ...er Star Trek of your own" Kelmar smiled "Now that you know that, Either you love me, or you want to kill me!" he laughed joyfully.
Shian Taris: ::she glanced over at her husband, who was as equally engaged and enjoying this. She grinned:: Brock told me that after we first met.
Brock Dantara: Yes, but you tell it so much better, kelmar. ::He smiles.:: Shian, Kelmar was a good friend and a good mentor. Part of the purpose of this program was to honor him. He went from being beaten and incarcerated as a disruptor, to seeing the veil of darkness lifted from the surface of our world. And all the turmoil that period entailed.
Shian Taris: I can see why. ::She stood up and went over to Kelmar, leaning in to give the hologram a kiss on the cheek::
Kelmar smiled. "Thank you, my dear. I may be a hologram, but it is still nice to be kissed by a pretty girl. If my wife were here, I would be in serious trouble." He laughed. ""Brock. why don;t you go and get a kiza for your self and our wife. She must be parched after the long walk here."
Brock Dantara: Ok, ::He smiled.:: I'll let you two talk. :: He grinned and headed off to one of the vendors::
"I hope that you are enjoying Stratos so far, Daia. - that is troglyte dialect for "very pretty girl" and is considered a compliment.
Shian Taris: ::she sat back down on the step, watching Brock go, then she turned to Kelmar:: Thank you for telling that story, and yes, I am. It's really quite beautiful here.
"It is indeed a wonderful place. and also a sacred place. Now, I must explain something to you while Brock gets the drinks for you." He pulls out some small scrolls from his cloak....
Shian Taris: ::She looks to him, her brow furrowing a bit out of curiosity:: What are those?
and begins to unroll one. "Now this is not part of the hologram. at least not for everyone. This is something I will try to explain." He looked over the scrolls and thought for a moment. "There is an ancient prophecy among us. about a man who will someday lead Ardana. The scrolls claim that this man will eave our world, and learn of other worlds and places and peoples. But he shall carry with him always the forms of justice and fairness. Of truth. he will share this, and he will learn from others and teach us. And when he returns from the foreign places, he will be chosen to unify Ardana. For the final step." He paused for a moment. Daia, it is believed by many that this man is Brock."
Shian Taris: ::She looked up at Kelmar again:: My husband. A prophecy? So, what happens if he is?
"You must not discuss this with him. This must not influence him in any way. and he will be reluctant to this. You are closer to him than anyone. you must..... find subtle ways to encourage him. If he is indeed the one, then the job will call him. it need not be offered. When you visit our planet, you will , if you choose undergo the ceremony. Then you will truly understand troglyte ways."
Shian Taris: ::She nodded slowly:: He is so much a part of this already. He loves his homeworld. He has pride in where he comes from. What kinds of things do I need to encourage? ::She wasn't quite sure what she was supposed to do:: What ceremony?
"Just encourage him as you normally would as his wife. He will come to the right conclusion at the right time." He hesitated a moment. "Now, as far as the Ceremony, the thing of that is,.........I cannot tell you about the ceremony." He smiled a moment. "Not because I am unwilling, of course, but I am unable. You see, this ceremony is only for females." He gave her a moment to absorb it all. "It is an ancient law that still stands. A male cannot witness the ceremony, ask about it, or even speak of it. So obviously I, myself have never seen it, and can tell you nothing of it. Except that it is symbolic, and non harmful." He smiles.
Shian Taris: ::She chuckled:: Well, the non-harmful part is good. If we go to Ardana, then I will ask one of the women to explain it.

Kelmar saw that Brock would be returning soon. he continued to speak to Shian of the Troglyte ways of antiquity. "Daia," He said, "Please, you must not dismiss what I am telling you as mere cultural folklore. These ancient laws are the heart of our people......One thing I can tell you, is this." He looked over to see Brock on his way back. "Many years ago a woman was ill. It was said that she had demons haunting her mind. After she had gone through the ceremony, she was once again a whole person. She had been cleansed of her fear" "Daia, I beg you, let Ardana do this for you. Let the planet embrace you. and your demons will be gone as well. Come to us, Daia. Brock will bring you."
Brock Dantara: ::He came back over to where they were conversing.:: Is it safe? ::He smiled. he had two glasses in his hands and handed one to Shian.::
Shian Taris: ::she smiled and took the glass from him:: Yes, Kelmar was just telling me about how wonderful Ardana truly is. ::She took a drink from the glass:: Mmm.. what is this? ::she couldn't quite remember the name of it that had been said:: It's very good.
Brock Dantara: I'm glad you had a nice talk I wanted you to meet him and spend some time with him, here. And Shian, you can come here anytime you want and talk to him. I don;t have to come with you, Not that I wouldn;t want to. but if you need to talk, My friend is the best person to talk to. Kelmar's wisdom and guidance has been a great asset to me.
Shian Taris: Oh? I'd like that. ::she smiled to Kelmar:: It's nice here. And he is very informative. I'm sure I could use some of his wisdom and guidance myself.
Brock Dantara: We all could, Sweetheart. I know I need an endless supply.
Shian Taris: ::She smiled:: Well, maybe Kelmar could show us a few more thing? Or tell us another story?
"Don't sell your self so short, Brock. you have accomplished much for a Troglyte. And are becoming an influence on our people. Now Ardana finally takes its place as an member of the Galactic community. In the times before, the Aristcrats would never think to leave the luxury of Stratos, and Troglytes could not leave. they had not such choices then.
Shian Taris: ::she looked at her husband:: And look at you now. Out here, commanding your own ship. ::she smiled::
Brock Dantara: And I can't let that go to my head. Kelmar helps me stay in perspective and reminds me of what I beleive and what I stand for.
Shian Taris: ::she put her hand behind his head, caressing his neck a little:: Looks like he's doing a great job of that.
Brock Dantara: ::He rubbed her shoulder:: Yes he is. And so do you. You ready to head back? We'll visit again. I thought maybe we'd relax and see a good Holo-vid.
Shian Taris: I don't deserve credit for that, Brock. Kelmar has done a lot for you. And Mamasan. The rest of it is all you
Brock Dantara: Don;t kid yourself. A lot of it was you. and still is. especially now that we've been given a second chance. Only you can do what you do, my love. Kelmar just kicks me in the rump when I lose sight of my Gratitude.
"like the kick you got to finally join Starfleet!"
Shian Taris: ::she chuckled:: Why does he get to have that pleasure? ::she winked at him::
Brock Dantara: "You can take ove any time you want!" He laughed jovially
Shian Taris: ::becoming more serious again, she nodded:: We've been given a second chance so that we don't let it happen again. I intend to make sure that it doesn't. Even if that means kicking you in the rump.
Brock Dantara: You have my permission, Dear. ::Kisses her cheek::
Shian Taris: ::She kisses him back:: And, if you're ready, then we can go back. I'm not the one that has to be anywhere right now. You're the one with responsibilities, here. ::she smiled again::
Brock Dantara: That's true. but this is our evening. I wanted to show you the program, then thought maybe we'd just have some alone time and relax. I think that would be good for both of us.
"Yes, you two go and attend each other. I was married once and understand these things.......I think I still remember,..." He laughs.
Shian Taris: ::She looked into his eyes:: I think so too ::She whispered to him, then turned to grin and laugh with Kelmar::
"I only wish I could have enjoyed a Kiza with you," He spoke to Shian, "It is a fruit that we learned to grow undercround in the great geothermal caves... It has a similar flavor to what you would call a....a lemon. Being a hologram now, and I do not have to eat or drink. That being so," He patted his belly "You would think maybe I would lose some weight!"
Shian Taris: ::She laughed, Kelmar's natural sense of humor easing her mind. She might indeed have to visit this program again.:: It is very good ::she lifted her glass again:: I like it.
Brock Dantara: ::Smiles:: I hav some real Kiza fruits growing on the ship. I'll make you a fresh one sometime. ::He took her hand as they prepared to leave.::
Shian Taris: Somehow, I thought you might. Knowing your penchant for having fresh food and produce. ::she smiled back::
""Be safe, and may great Gods who dwell below us, and bless us with heat form our mother Ardana, Always warm the love that the two of you share. It is a love more rare than Zenite... and more valuable than Latinum. Until the next time, Brock," He hugs him, thenmove to hug Shian. "Daia I am honored to meet you. I only regret not doing so when I was still made of flesh."
Shian Taris: ::she hugged Kelmar back and smiled:: Oh, me, too, sir. Thank you for your stories, too. ::She gave him a small wink:: Maybe I'll come back another time and talk with you more.
"That would make an old man happy. even a photonic one."
Shian Taris: ::She smiled to him once more, taking Brock's hand:: Thank you again, Kelmar. I will visit again. ::She turned with her husband to exit the program.::

And you spoil me everyday you find enough good humor to stay with me and Rocky. Rocky sniffed the holodeck door when they got to it grumbling about how the door wouldn't open. You ready to go inside and face the rath of Dad? She kissed him.

Rocky goes barrling into the holodeck when the door opens and Christina just laughts. Slow down don't drag Jay in. She sees Regal in there with Chase. They were both looking away from the door until they entered in. That is when Chase went barrling into the woods and Regal had to let him go.

Turns around to see Jay making his enterance with Christina following shortly behind him. He laughs and then offers Jay his hand. No, but then again I know when to let go of Chance when Rocky is around. You'll learn that in time. He then helpted Jay back to his feet before going to Christina and kissing her on the cheek rubbing her stomach a bit. The tripples have grown sence I've seen them. Pretty soon you'll have to get bigger pants. He smiled a bit.
